Negative BS is negative
The amount of negativity I have witnessed in the past week over Obama’s declaration of being in support of Gay marriage is making me sad. I can appreciate people’s different point of views (not that I understand them all the time), but I just cannot understand why so many people, people I actually know, cant just let those of us whom are happy about this, be happy. I dont believe Obama’s statement is going to cause immediate change. I dont believe Gay marriage across the nation is something we will witness anytime soon. I do believe his statement made a lot of people feel better about themselves. Validation from the President towards a group of citizens whom have suffered inequality for, well, like forever, is a positive thing. POSITIVE. POSITIVE POSITIVE POSITIVE!
